The base of the "Courtney" style is a unique, open-weave lattice or "web" structure made from sculpted stiffened paper. This provides a lightweight, airy feel while maintaining a bold, rigid shape.

A dramatic vertical shape, this oversized silhouette is designed to sit high on the head, creating an elongated, commanding profile that frames the face with intricate geometric patterns.

The focal point is a multi-layered feathered bloom and the feathers are hand-shaped to mimic the soft petals of a gardenia or peony, providing a tactile, organic contrast to the structural base.

Delicate biot quills and wispy feathers extend outward from the floral center, adding a sense of movement and "flutter" that catches the light and the breeze.

For free order pick-up in Louisville, Kentucky please choose the "Pick Up at Hat Shop" option under delivery methods on the checkout page (*instead of the shipping option*). If you choose shipping by mistake, the order will be shipped unless we are contacted in time to intercept.
