Design & Silhouette

• The Base: A massive, asymmetrical disc made of fine woven sinamay. The base is expertly manipulated with deep folds and sweeps, creating a dynamic, "unfolding" shape that extends far beyond the wearer's silhouette.

• The Centerpiece: Rather than a traditional floral element, this hat features a high-texture "starburst" of hand-cut turkey feathers. The center is a dense cluster of fine, stems that radiate outward.

• The Detailing: The piece is adorned with dozens of delicate, triangular turkey feathers. These are attached to ultra-fine, feather stems, making them appear to float around the hat like a cloud of butterflies or snowflakes.
